- GPS coordinates during Instant Rides (updated every 30 seconds for both users and drivers)

Stored Location Data:
- Previous pickup and destination locations (stored to provide search suggestions)
- Frequently visited places
- Duplicate locations with identical names are not stored separately

- Captain's name, profile photo, vehicle number
- Captain's status (Active/Expired) when scanning QR code
- Captain's real-time location during Instant Rides (updated every 30 seconds)
Captains can see:
- User's name and pickup location
- User's destination (if provided)
- User's real-time location updates (every 30 seconds) during Instant Rides
- Ride codes when shared by users
5.2 With Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:
- Payment processors (Razorpay) for wallet transactions
- Mapping services (Google Maps) for location and navigation
- Cloud storage providers for data hosting
- Analytics providers for app performance monitoring
- Customer support tools for assistance services
- KYC verification services for captain onboarding
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for specified purposes.
5.3 For Legal Reasons

- Ride details (pickup/destination locations, dates, times) are retained indefinitely to:
- Provide search suggestions for future rides

- Resolve disputes
- Comply with legal obligations
6.3 Wallet Transactions
Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by Indian law.
6.4 Deleted Accounts
- Deactivate your profile within 30 days
- Retain certain information as required by law (financial records, KYC documents)
- Anonymize or delete other personal data within 90 days
- Maintain anonymized ride history for analytics purposes
6.5 Legal Holds
We may retain information longer when required for legal investigations, disputes, or regulatory compliance.

7.3 No Guarantee
While we strive to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data transmitted through the Platform.
8. Your Rights and Choices
8.1 Access and Correction
- Access your personal information stored on the Platform
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Update your profile details at any time through the App
8.2 Data Portability
You may request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used format.
8.3 Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Note that:
- Some information may be retained as described in Section 6
- Wallet balances may be subject to refund policies
- Active recharge plans are non-refundable
8.4 Location Services
- You can control location access through your device settings
- Disabling location services will prevent you from using ride services
- Real-time tracking requires continuous location access during Instant Rides

- Opt out of marketing communications (you will still receive service-related notifications)
- Control push notifications through device settings
- Unsubscribe from SMS messages by following provided instructions
8.6 Cookies and Tracking
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.
9. Children's Privacy
The Quyoom Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately, and we will delete such information.
Users under 18 may use the Platform only with parental supervision and consent.
10. Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.
10.2 Payment Processing
Wallet top-ups are processed through Razorpay. Your payment information is handled according to Razorpay's privacy policy and security standards. Quyoom does not store complete payment card details.
10.3 Google Maps
Location and mapping services are provided by Google Maps. Your use of these services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in locations outside your country of residence. These locations may have different data protection laws. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

13.1 Instant Ride
- Real-time GPS tracking for both users and drivers (every 30 seconds)
- 4-digit ride codes generated and stored for verification
- Fixed pricing information stored
- Driver cannot end ride unless within 20 meters of destination (location validation)
- Billing details stored after ride completion
13.2 Shared Ride
- Ride details visible to all potential passengers
- Driver information displayed to users searching for rides
- No real-time tracking during ride
- Booking history maintained for all participants
- Cancellation notifications sent to affected users
13.3 Manual Ride
- QR code scan records maintained
- Driver profile information displayed upon scan
- Active/Expired status shown to users
- Ride details and billing stored after completion
13.4 Wallet and Recharge Plans
- Transaction history maintained indefinitely
- Payment information processed securely through Razorpay
- Recharge plan status tracked to enforce service access
- Wallet balance visible only to account holder
